Chenghuang Miao: Shanghai City God Temple (Chenghuang Miao) is a Taoist temple known for its long history and grand architecture. The temple is also a traditionally commercial district that hosts annual temple fair events and a range of shops, restaurants, teahouses. Most of the buildings of the stores have a history of more than a hundred years old. Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall: Located on People’s Square, the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall displays the overall urban planning and development of Shanghai and besides exhibitions, it offers data searching, education, leisure, and sightseeing services. A 1:200 giant model of the city center which takes up an area of 800 square meters is displayed. Nanjing Road: West Nanjing Road features a number of up-market shopping centers, office buildings, and some other retail outlets. Many of Shanghai’s oldest and largest department stores are located at East Nanjing Road. Despite, there is a variety of domestic retail outlets and some traditional delicacies with a long history. The Park Hotel there is Shanghai’s most well-known historical hotels. The Bund: The Bund (Wai tan) is the one of the best-known landmarks that cannot be missed in Shanghai. It is considered as China’s “Wall Street”. The architectures on the Bund are described as an “Exhibition of World Architecture”. It is a busy commercial street during daytime. But, when the lights of various colors are on at night, the buildings at the Bund along the Huangpu River are just like crystal palaces, reflecting a sense of luxury and elegance. The Bund symbolizes that Shanghai is the fastest-developing city in China. Yu Garden: Yuyuan Garden locates near the City God Temple in Shanghai. It is one of the more exquisite gardens in Southern China with a history of over 40 years. Although repaired for many times, each hall, pavilion, stream, stone and so on in the garden expresses the essence of the landscape design of the Ming and Qing Dynasty in Southern China.

In 2007, it was ranked as a 5A (the top) scenic spot by National Tourism Administration.Humble Administrator Garden: Covering 51,950 sq.m,the Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou . It is centered upon the broad expanse of a lake, making up about one fifth of the total area. With well spaced buildings, the garden landscape and water scape are simple, extensive and natural, possessing the traditional appearances of the Ming Dynasty. It is divided into three parts; the eastern, middle and the western parts. The house lies in the south of the garden.

Covering an area of 720,000 square meters, there remain 980 buildings and 8704 rooms in this palace, with a city wall of 10 meters high in four directions and a moat of 52 meters in width. There set four huge gates on the four sides, among which Meridian Gate (Wu men) in the south and Divine Might Gate (Shenwu men) in the north are open as the entrances for tourists. Tiananmen also serves as the main entrance of the Forbidden City in the south. Ding Tomb: Also known as the “13 Tombs”, this is the burial site of 13 Emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The tombs are located at the Tianshou Mountain of Changping District. From 1409, the first tomb called “Changling Tomb” was built and the last tomb called “Siling Tomb” was constructed in 1644. Altogether, there are now 13 tombs of Emperors, 23 of Empresses, 2 of Princes, about 30 concubines, and eunuch. Cable Car at Mutianyu Great Wall (Round Trip): You can take cable car up and down to experience a birdview of the less untouched Great Wall at Mutianyu section. Mutianyu Great Wall: Located in Huairou County 70km northeast of Beijing, Mutianyu section of Great Wall is connected with Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. First built in the mid-6th during the Northern Qi dynasty, Mutianyu Great Wall is older, less crowded, more original than Badaling Great Wall.

Nanluoguxiang Hutong: Nanluogu Xiang (South Gong and Drum Lane, Nanluogu Alley) is among one of the oldest hutongs around and has a history of over 800 years. This 800-meter long North-South alleyway is filled with bars, cafes, restaurants, artsy little shops, souvenir shops and cute boutiques. It's worth to spend an hour or two walking
through the little alley ways and hutongs around it.Panjiayuan Market : Panjiayuan Market is the biggest flea market in China. Sellers in the market are from a variety of backgrounds, such as the following ethnic minority groups: Hui, Miao, Dong, Uyghur, Mongolian, and Korean. You can find as many collectables here as you want with a reasonable price.(The best time to visit Panjiayuan Market is at weekend.)
Forbidden City (With Treasure House & Hall of Clocks and Watches): Built between 1406 and 1420, the Forbidden City was the palace of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties, a period extending over 500 years. The atmosphere created by the many temples, halls and courtyards - not to mention the colors of the tiles, roofs and painted wood - is unique, leaving you with a lasting impression of imperial China. The palace has over 9000 rooms. Treasure Houses takes up about 220 square metres. There are more than 440 treasures on display belonged to Qing dynasty royalty,most of which have not never been on display in the past time. Hall of Clocks and Wathches: It is located in the east of the Inner Court outside the Gate of Respect Movement (Jing Yun Men). This exhibition hall houses about 200 clocks and watches from the imperial collection. Those watches and clocks are mostly made in Switzerland, England, France, the U.S and Japan, with some Chinese made timepieces on display as well.Temple of Heaven : a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design which simply and graphically illustrates a cosmogony of great importance for the evolution of one of the world's great civilizations, and had a profound influence on architecture and planning in the Far East over many centuries. You can see lots of Beijingers practicing Taichi in the morning and you can join them.Tian'anmen Square: The heart of urban Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people. It stands in front of the Forbidden City, at its north the Tiananmen Rostrum, from which imperial decrees were promulgated.
